Kristin Fisher joined CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. Kristin has a background in the field of space as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years she's reported on space policy during the Biden and Trump Administrations for FOX News. During that time she also reported on two impeachment proceedings for President Trump and the presdiential 2020 campaign, and two administration's efforts to contain the pandemic of coronavirus. The former president Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan in a trip that was highly restricted.
